Transport App

The Transport App focuses on the easy processing of incoming and outgoing flows of goods for companies that work on the basis of batch registration. By digitizing various processes via an App, the paper picking list has been completely eliminated from the working method. With the Transport App, fresh produce companies are taking a big step towards going paperless. 

The processes from transport planning to implementation are interesting for almost every user who actively works with GreenCommerce. The Transport App supports companies that employ their own drivers to pick up or deliver goods. Goods are often picked up by trucks or vans from nearby suppliers. For these situations in particular, there is still a lot of mutual communication by means of paper transport/picking lists. Within the new Transport App, a functionality is provided that allows order pickers to access transport orders in a modern way, receive updates about this and report progress.

The Transport App is a valuable addition for fresh produce companies that work with paper pick lists and batch registration. It offers a clear and well-arranged picture of all things still to be planned for transport and functionalities in order to empty this overview in smart ways by creating transport orders. Changes are immediately visible to the transporter and are shown extra clearly by means of a red color.

It is possible to make the workload of transport orders available to drivers, with the possibility to apply sorting and grouping based on region, priority and expected delivery / collection times. Push notifications will also be added in the future so that changes and updates can be noticed immediately, even when the App is not open.
