Process controls in the Production App are indispensable for audits

The next step in “paperless warehouses” is being taken with the process control functionality in GreenCommerce and the Production App. Specific controls can be implemented in a structured way. An indispensable feature for quality checks and external audits. GreenCommerce and the Production App now offer various registration options to support companies in their QA processes.

Process controls are important for production companies to safeguard the quality and hygiene of machines. While QC focuses on inspecting product quality, these controls are specifically aimed at monitoring processes. For this reason, a clear distinction has been made between standard controls (for certifications, among other things) and these process controls.

In GreenCommerce
Process control templates can be managed within GreenCommerce using input types. Navigate to Master Data → Quality → Process Control Templates to access the relevant screen. Properties can be combined into a control report within templates. Users can define the required groupings and order, and each property can include both a description and an internal instruction for the employee carrying out the control.

In addition, a column can be added in the “assignments screen” to display the progress of the process control. Useful for QA employees who want insight into the current status. These reports are recorded in the Production App.

In the Production App
Within the Production App, authorized users can create and view process controls under the “Machine” tab. An additional menu item has been added to the assignment, allowing users to start a new report or continue an existing one.

When creating a report, a pop-up form is displayed showing the different steps. Once all required fields have been completed, the report can be finalized. In the meantime, the report can be saved so users can continue working on it later.

A separate role for Quality Assurance (QA) has been created; this role can be assigned to Production App users through the roles/permissions management in the Apps environment.
