New screen when splitting off mixed pallets - GreenCommerce

New screen when splitting off mixed pallets

Gepost door  Jill van der Knaap   op  21 January 2020

The Mango release contains a new development that optimizes the process of splitting off mixed pallets. When splitting off a mixed pallet, the original pallet with the pallet number will be retained in the new situation. So a new pallet with a new pallet number will be created for what you will eventually consume or ship. Just like when splitting off a "none-mixed pallet"!

Before the Mango release, when splitting off a mixed pallet, the original pallet with the reduced numbers was booked as consumption. Subsequently, the split-off numbers came into stock as new pallet numbers, while in practice the opposite happened more and more often. You would then like to see the split numbers back in stock with the original pallet number that already applied before the split.

Do you recognize this situation? Then we have good news! In this release, we have worked specifically on optimizing split-off mixed pallets. As a result, from now on, when "Splitting and adding" a pallet as consumption or for a loading, a new screen will appear for mixed pallets:

By double clicking on a pallet line, you can indicate how many numbers you want to split off. In the bottom area you can see which quantities have been chosen from which pallet line. The last step is to choose the correct pallet packaging for the split quantities (target pallet) and press OK. Congratulations; you have created a new pallet with the chosen pallet packaging and quantities. The chosen quantities will be moved to this new pallet, after which you can use them or put them in the shipment.
