Export and customs declarations with fresh produce software GreenCommerce

The handling of customs declarations will become a major challenge after a Brexit when trading with the United Kingdom (UK). The manual processing is impossible as the administration will take too much time. That is why we have made an integrated customs service connection, whereby customs declarations can be communicated to customs agents and carriers via a single button. The connection will save time and unburden fresh produce exporters during a Brexit transition.

Integrated customs service connection
To ease the transition from a Brexit, a solution has been sought to make it easier and faster to process customs declarations in GreenCommerce. For the upcoming pilot, DailyFresh Logistics will join as transporter and customs handler. It is also possible to work with any other customs agent and / or transporter.

Brexit stress? Be prepared!
When Brexit continues, the UK will fall outside the European Union, which means that export data will also have to be submitted to the KCB. In addition to the customs service connection, there are already options within GreenCommerce to send electronic declarations to the KCB via the Export Package. GreenCommerce links with e-CertNL. The package offers the functionality to enter export requests via KCB declarations directly into GreenCommerce, so that not all orders that are exported outside the EU, need to be manually typed into the system.
